Digital BW, The Print

I'm using ImagePrint 6.0 for the Mac and an Epson 2200. My Apple Cinema 
Display is calibrated, using the ColorVision Spyder with OptiCAL. The 
image is processed in Photoshop CS2, flattened, saved as a .psd and 
then opened in ImagePrint. The preview is significantly lighter than 
the image in PS and prints that way. I can drop the levels using either 
curves or levels in PS and it will print like I want it, but it's hit 
or miss. Any suggestions? Thanks.
