Digital BW, The Print

I'm getting muddy blacks printing as follows:

-UT2/1280
-Roark curves
-HWM/EEM

I printed the 100 step wedge, and could not distinguish anything
higher than about step 92.

Is it likely that there is a mismatch between the curves and my
particular printer? I thought a potential problem is that I did not in
fact have the right black loaded, but it is labeled Eboni.

any suggestions?
