It did work. I will send you the file of the image which didn't work,
assuming it isn't too big for my email server to handle.

Next question: is there a place where the advantages of QTR over the
Epson driver is discussed? I made a couple of 8x10 prints of files
derived from scanned 4x5 negatives and don't honestly see any
difference. What should I be looking for?

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
