Well, I guess I am. I'm using QTR with a mix of curves specific to the ink and paper I use, but these curves are the ones provided with the installation. These curves seem to be very "flexible", I guess linearization is the word... I print by portfolios, or projects if you like, and I like these to share the same "vibe", particularly colour. If the colour would change with "identical" third-party inks, then I guess I'll finish what I started with the same ink set. Thank you for your help. José -----Original Message----- From: BKPhoto@... Even inks that are marketed as "virtual replacements" are not identical. However, how much this difference matters is difficult to say. If you are using custom printing profiles for a given printer, ink set and paper, it may matter a great deal.
