My image on letter size was was just over 10" (255mm)x7.25"  
(185mm), landscape.  With center checked and to fit unchecked and 
image reduced to 96% the left margin was 13.5mm, the right was 
9.5mm, top was 16.5mm and bottom was 13mm.  Using my eyeballing 
method proved different but no better.  After considering this I 
noticed that all sizes of paper share minimum margins of .125 on the 
long side and .556 on the short side. This obviously must be taken 
into consideration in determining the maximum size of the image.
