I have posted a couple of similar questions recently and have not received 
any response.  Not sure if my posts are going out properly ... could you 
please give me a reply so as to confirm!

I too would like to do some of my own curves, most especially for semigloss 
and glossy papers, but have no idea where to start!

Having finally gotten QTR basically functioning well with my 2200
(thanks to Roy and Stephen), I would now like to play with generating

Am I also correct in assuming that if I decided to utilize a third
party inkset (MIS UC perhaps), then I would need such custom curves to
achieve results tweaked to my image preferences.
