To be honest I have found the whole B&W on RC paper printing a frustration. There's bronzing and differential reflectance issues. Spraying (I have used Lyson Print Guard) helps but then you have the issue of mottled blacks. I have not found a solution and am a bit surprised that others don't seem bothered by the issue you and I are experiencing - I have raised this issue here before. As a result, I have not done much RC printing of late. In my experience, these issues are significantly less in colour work. As a result I would like to understand a little better what actually causes these issues and why it might be that a spray helps. (I am using a 2100 with an MIS CFS with their UC equivalent inks.) > From: Steve Schaefer <steve_schaefer@...> > Reply-To: <DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com> > Date: Tue, 26 Oct 2004 07:06:38 -0400 (GMT-04:00) > To: <DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com> > Subject: Re: [Digital BW] Premier Art Print > > > Steve have you found another method or do you just not us it? >
