Through the back. The 2200 I have recommends the manual feed slot for velvet fine art which is a lowly 260gsm. So a heavier 380 is way more. It's not that hard, after moving the lever, push the paper in until you see a half inch or so and hold it against the right edge of the slot. There is enough of an edge in there that you can rock the paper and you can feel it when it is square.
