Digital BW, The Print

I'm new to this forum and did a search on the HP 7960 inkjet printer
but have not found much on it. Why is this printer not discussed here
much? It's supposed to be one of the best solutions for at home B&W
printing. I have one and I'm quite happy with it. 

That is, except for the ink and paper cost. I print on HP Premium Plus
paper with HP's #59 ink. 

My question is: How does this printer compare with the C84 using the
MIS inks? That solutions seems a lot cheaper but I'm concerned about
the archival quality. The HP solution is supposed to have one of the
best archival characteristics but to be honest I have yet to see/read
a good test on it.
