>What is the difference between these two ink sets apart from the >fact that one is specifically for the 2200? Is the D-max different? >Are the archival properties different? The UT-2200, which appears to have been re-named "UT7" on the MIS webpage (signaling that it is for all 7-ink Epsons), is a re-mixed UT2. The 2200 (and other UltraChrome printers) put such a different ratio of cyan and magenta in the "neutral" shades that the cool toner needed to be changed not only in its mix but also in its position. The dmax, archival, light fastness, and printing characteristics of the inksets are the same. The "light black" has almost no impact on the image, with the exception of a grayscale image printed with no curves and no slider adjustments. There the light black (which I decided not to tone more neutral) causes a slight increase in the warmth of the shadows.
