Austin, I see no difference in the amount of detail or sharpness in prints using MIS VM with the Epson driver in side-by-side comparisons with Piezo. I see this in my own prints and in examples from others. Technically I agree with you that you mono-ink print resolution may not corespond to 4 or 6 ink system resolution. But regardless of the ins and outs of the drivers, the end results are equally excellent.
