Digital BW, The Print

Hello,

Sort of new with the Digital B&W print stuff.  I've worked in B&W labs
before so not totally newbie :).  I have an Epson 825 that I got for
basic color 4x6 and under sizes shots to hand out.  But I just emailed
inksupply.com and they said the Quadtones will work for the 825
Epson Printer.  I would like to start printin small prints (5x5 or 4x6
on 8x10 or 8.5x11.5 paper).  

Okay, so here's my question.  What else do I need besides Quad Ink,
Photoshop, Scanner to create prints?  Do I need to calibrate my
monitor?  (it's only B&W prints...is it necessary?).  Do I need any
other Software that is on the inksupply web page?  Do I need extra
drivers? 

Okay, so I do sound like a newbie.  But my entire darkroom is in boxes
right now from 2 moves. (except for the wet film stuff)
