Tom,

I started out with a 1200 as well. I and others found it to be one of the
most problem prone of all the Espon printers for use with carbon pigment
inks. When I switched to a 1280 things were much better. The clogging issues
with Piezo ink were with the original inks. The new Piezotones do not suffer
from these problems. I have used both and the new inks have worked very well
for me.
