Given Spielberg's opinion on digital "filmmaking" (let's just say 
he's on the opposite side of the issue with George Lucas), I'm 
not altogether surprised at his having that scene in the film 
(which, sadly, I didn't go to see on the big screen - I'm allergic to 
megaplexes;).
