There is no doubt that the promised new product from Cone means that all his exsisting Epson owners will be forgotten. It's my assesment that Cone is going after a much bigger amateur market with the Canon product. Sorry guys, but in reading his media pack I see no positive mention of of Epson. Am I wrong but isn't the Cannon a dye based product? Saying that the advantage of his new approach is the interchangability of print heads a addmission that the inks clog. I personally want to see what MIS are going to do for the 2200, 7600 and 9600. Surely that is where most of our interests lay? If MIS UC compatible inks are any good and they can bring out some decent B/W inks, I know which product I shall buy. I have never been much of a lover of Jon Cone, he has made statements in the past like the orginal inks did not clog, and the Greenies where due to my leaving the printer off for two long. Yeh, right! Barry
