Morning Peeple.

Paul asked me to post my thoughts on the new MIS 4.3 inkset.  He sent me
three prints with a landscape and
test strip/gradient using 3 new curves.

The prints are perfect, with solid blacks. The MIS black ink is so close
to the Media Street Enhanced black, it really won't be a problem
anymore. 

The warm curve produces a rich brown toned print, and has a very smooth
curve. The 21 step wedge is extremely
even. You can really see all five of the 5 darkest patches, from 95% to
100% black.

The same holds true of the Neutral and cool curves. The grays are very
neutral all across the print. Of the three
I prefer the neutral curve first, but the cool curve would be used for
snow scenes. The inkset looks like a winner. He printed the images on
Epson EAM paper. on an 1160 printer.
