Does anyone have tips or links to tutorials on best practices for applying lacquer-based sprays (e.g. Moab Desert Varnish) to inkjet prints NOT printed on canvas? These sprays work fine for me on canvas, but I find that they leave small particles of residue when I use them as directed on non-canvas papers (e.g. Canson Platine, Canson Baryta, Epson luster, etc.).
On canvas, the sprayed on lacquer is invisible, perhaps because of the canvas weave or absorption level. But I'd like to be able to spray (and frame without glass) prints on papers like Canson Platine.
I've already read the easy to find articles and watched the available videos but I haven't found a solution. Anyone else experienced and solved this problem?
Thanks,
Mark
