I agree with others who have commented that plastic comb binding looks cheap and nasty. I prefer wire binding -- do a Google image search for "Renz binder". I have a small hand-operated desktop binding machine of this type, but you may be able to find a local business that is equipped to do this work as a service. The pages of a wire-bound book open out flat, so the images on the page don't hide in a gutter. I think this is a neat and servicable form of binding, suitable for a one-off item or for a short run. -- Peter Marquis-Kyle
