I have been using CC for almost a year. A few points to perhaps calm the waters 1. you can always save backwards compatible versions of what ever you do. Sometimes its important sometimes not, 2. A cloud solution is only one location for storage of documents and should never be relied upon as an only location. If one i concerned that Adobe is going to turn it into a "cash cow" then make other arrangements - now - storage is cheap and getting cheaper, 3. Adobe CC is not just for Photographers and was never intended to be - those of us with wider interests and more varied usage for imaging programs find that the interactivity built into first CS and now CC suite of programs extremely useful. 4. the cost of a subscription vs. the cost of regular upgrades when spread over the usual time between major upgrades to the programs ie spread over 3 to 4 years is more or less a wash - better if you are supporting a multi - user environment Berel Lutsky Associate Professor of Art UW Manitowoc 920-683-4735
