Digital BW, The Print

I should that if I forget to reset them, when I reinstall them and look at the ink level graphic, it shows the cart as not full. So I pull the cart, reset it, and then the graphic shows full. Judging from this behavior, the cart does not auto-reset. But then why are they labeled "ARC"?
