Been very happy with my R1800 using Eboni 3MK, but when I set it up that way one of arguments for this printer was you could use it for both color and b/w, if you were willing to forego glossy color because the GLOP position was now dedicated to Eboni ink. Lately I've had a few jobs from clients who want color. I prefer matte prints anyway, so I don't really need the GLOP cartridge. Currently, my five color positions are filled with MIS cleaning fluid, and I've added just a touch of Eboni to that fluid so I can monitor my nozzle checks. Otherwise of course I can't tell whether my five color nozzles are open. I plan to use new MIS empty carts for the color positions, filling them myself with MIS color inks. Before I do that, do I need to flush out the five color nozzles with cleaning fluid in yet another set of clean carts, without the touch of Eboni? Any other issue, pitfalls, gotchas I should be aware of? I don't want to screw up my carbon ink printing! TIA! Paul
