simple .. 320 and see if you're happy with the results. 10 points above film base is the starting point for black with detail. Shoot a (20 step?) gray wedge and figure out where density starts expose for the shadows develop for the details. Then buy a nikon D800 and forget about all this nonsense. I get B&W prints from my large format epson printer that are better than anything I ever got in a darkroom....
