Does anyone know how Keith's surgery went?

Thanks

Mike J.

Subject: [Digital BW] My upcoming surgery and a thank-you to you all...

Over 10 years I joined this group and participate actively.

On 15 November 2009, as many here know, I was rear-ended at a stoplight. MY
spine was seriously injured at both ends. Sadly, that required my stepping
back from day-to-day interaction and printing.

Monday 7 May 2012 I go in for complex surgery that will hopefully be the
last I need. The results possible are: full recovery, partial recovery,
parapalegia, and death. But I have one of the US's best surgeons performing
the surgery. Even so, I am scared in a way I've never felt before, but I am
at peace in my soul. If surgery goes well, after rehab I shall be rejoining
members who have done so much untolled work in my absence.

Finally I would ask each of you who reads this for a small favor. The walls
of Hospitals are bleak, as are those of rehab rooms. I've never asked
anything from this group preferring, to keep myself as completely
non-commercial as posssible. However, I would like to ask anyone willing to
send me a print to brighten or add interest to my walls during what will be
an extended rehab to do so, you will be remembered always for the kindness,
and the prints/cards will NEVER be sold.

As I don't know how fast the travel to rehab will be, and I won't have
access to a pc for awhile, I'd ask you to send any prints, cards, or notes
to me at my mother's home, care of my mom. The address should read:

Keith E. Krebs (Hospital mail)
c/o Barbara Krebs
182 East 7th Street
Clifton, NJ 07011-1738

If anyone responds, I shall do my best to thank-you personally.

I wish ALL of you here, your families, your friends, and your printers all
well in my absence. God bless you each.

Keith Krebs
