Well, I used a clean mason jar and teflon bar on a magnetic stirrer to mix up my batch, along with lab grade glycerol. I used clean disposable syringes to measures and add the inks. This system is not closed, though, and stuff in the air can get into it. My photoflow was stored in my basement darkroom, which can be a little damp, and so maybe this was the problem. I know that diluted photoflow solutions turn bad fairly soon in my darkroom. I still have the base: http://i955.photobucket.com/albums/ae37/peterdesmidt/clear_base.jpg I don't know if the mold grew in the cartridges, but I can't risk it, and I probably shouldn't use the cartridges again, sigh.
