Thanks, Berel. Can anybody point me towards instruction on how to 
replace the "damper screen", and where to obtain a new one.

Also, any Epson technicians in the Portland Maine area?  I don't want 
to have to drive me printer down to Boston, and then go back to pick 
it up.  In fact, I'd prefer not to have to carry it anywhere ... if 
there is somebody who could come to my studio in Portland, Maine.
