Digital BW, The Print

I've posted some of the results of my latest printing with Eboni-4 Plus the Noritsu-Epson inks at

While I expected good results with many glossy papers, the cool Noritsu inks are also making a useful cool toner for the Eboni-4 carbon pigments on at least a few matte papers. The Noritsu K also boosts the dmax, significantly on some.

The paper that responded best so far to the toning is Red River Aurora Art White. The Eboni + Noritsu combo prints a neutral-cool print and has a very respectable 1.68 damx (up from the 1.50's) -- it's quite a transformation for this high value paper. See the graph of the print tones on page 9 of
