Power Adapter

Power Adapter

2003-04-06 by flootiepa2tie

Where can I purchase a new power cord for my DW8000?
I've been searching for over an hour on the net now with no
luck. I've been to 3 different local music stores and they look at
me like I have 3 heads because I own a 'nearly 20 year old' synth.
The Korg site was of little use as well. Shoot, they don't even have
an email link!
Anything comparable at Radio Shack? Anyone know?
Thanks for your help.

I've repaired several DW8000s over the years, and the first thing I do is replace the power jack with a standard, three-prong jack (available at most electrical supply stores for a buck or two).  It's an easy replacement;  once it's done, the synth will take any standard synth or computer power cord.
