More Angel City Turbo Questions...

2007-12-06 by a_deuteronomy

All of us that own the DW-8000 know how old the unit is and most of us
that have the Angel City upgrade know that that too has been around for
a number of years. My questions are: Has the Angel City gone through
any upgrades? Is there an "improved" version or is it the same circuit
as the original? If I purchased a newly manufactured board, is there
any difference found in the more recently issued circuits offering new
features?

Don't get me wrong, this isn't a complaint just an inquiry. My DW
still is a wonderful (and highly prized) addition to my set-up and I'll
admit that outside of using the extra voice storage, I really haven't
scratched the surface of what my Turbo board has to offer. I was just
wondering if there were upgraded versions. Thanks.

Hey there,

I love having the ability to create split patches, and I've REALLY
utilized the added 'Random LFO'-type waveform. And I'd like to use the
additional patch storage, but I've had entire banks of sound erased
trying to use the extra banks.

I wonder if my Musitronics board is possibly a little glitchy. . .

Has anyone else experienced trouble with this ?
