Turbo Boards Available

Turbo Boards Available

2006-12-31 by cavernosum7

I've recently finished a run of Turbo Boards for the DW8000; after
the pre-ordered units, I have two left -- will sell them for $70
including US shipping.
This board increases the onboard memory from one bank of 64 programs
to eight banks of 64; it allows assinging a split point to play two
different patches simultaneously, or to layer two patches for a very
complex sound.
Details can be found in the Turbo Manual, in the files section.

That would be an extra $10 for Global Priority Mail.

Is there still one of these available? I read somewhere that this also
replaces the internal battery, is this true? And what about the new
modulation sources, does the sample and hold let you do random blips
and beeps random type sounds?

Yes.

Ah, I think I know the page you're referring to -- no, he's mistaken.  The new battery backs up the new RAM;  the old battery is still needed to back up the old RAM.

 And what about the new
modulation sources, does the sample and hold let you do random blips

Yes.  As mentioned previously, this is the exact same board as the "angel city" board;  the user manual in the files section of this group describes all the things  it will do.

Hello-
Sorry, they've all been sold.
Check with Musitronics in Germany -- I believe they still have them.
