Korg DW8000, Mono/Poly, MS-20...

I got a dw8000 but when i turn it on the led's just flash for a second and then switch off.
does anyone know what is wrong?

Sounds like your internal battery is dead. It is a CR2032 cell, about the size of a nickel.
Ideally, you should replace the internal battery, which is soldered onto the board, with a
battery holder and a new battery. For a complete how-to, go here:

If you aren't into doing your own electronic repairs, print that page and take it and your
DW8000 to any decent electronics or musical instrument repair shop.

cable
either midi power or whatever that is loose check all connections
