Hello!

The fuse of my dw8000 is gone and I don't have the service manual. I need
to know what kind of fuse is necessary, what is the ampere, etc. I got the
old one from the synth but theres nothing written. Could anyone help me?

Um, no. There is no copy of the *SERVICE MANUAL* in the files section of this group.
In fact, have you LOOKED at the files section of this group? It doesn't even have a
copy of the USER MANUAL.

(Maybe look first next time before giving incorrect info?)

Dave was wrong but it's no reason to act like an ass! For the record, I've never been able to obtain a copy of the service manual. I have a dead DW8000 (likely a bad fuse or transformer). KORG has been no help. I've just decided to give up and let professionals do the job. Rogue Music in NYC does vintage Korg repair. I plan on shipping mine there next week. I've heard their turnaround isn't bad and rates are pretty fair (I had them fix a Roland controller that was damaged in a flood, total repairs were less than $150).
