Good job Chris !
What happens to the original settings for cut-off and
reso, do you use knobs with central clicks?
BTW, is there any similar mods for Poly61?

Greeting to you die hard Korg fans,

I have many synths and samplers but I only recently
got my Poly 800
and I haven't played with one of those since 1986!

It was a bit tatty and one key on the keyboard did't
work but I fixed
that. I changed the battery - fortunately it was a
late model 800.

I cleaned her up and added the infamous Moog Slayer
mod to it for
knob control for VCF cut off and resonance.

For pics and sound samples head to:

As a bonus, there is a set of patches in mp3 format to
download and
load into your 800. These are from a defunct UK
magazine called
Electronic Soundmaker from 1985.

For more info on this magazine including a review of
these patches
and to get the CD:

If you are into synths generally from this period
including
Synclaviers and Fairlights you may want to check out
this DVD:

Best regards

Chris
