Hey James
As the proud 1-week owner of the III and comparing it to my I, I highly
recommend and echo EMF's opinion. The new cymbals are awesome, the hihat
is nearly natural, and the cheapo pedal is better than the cheapo pedal
I was using. The rack is nice. (I know, I know) I think the audio system
has improved- sounds including play-along music are clearer- less muddy
to my ears. I was thinking of new headphones but that doesn't seem as
necessary to me now. If you get the basic- you will end up spending
money filling up the inputs anyway- may as well get the good cymbals now.
