MIDI output question

Hey guys... please keep in mind I'm a total newbie with this MIDI stuff. Okay, here goes: I'm using Cubase SX to record my DTXPressII drum kit. My PC and my module are attached through a MIDI cable. I can record the drums fine, and I can play them back through my speakers... kind of. The problem is that my drums are always played back as a piano. Or any other sound that is built in to the Cubase software. Something is taking my MIDI notes and emulating them in to another sound, when I JUST WANT MY DRUMS TO SOUND LIKE MY DRUMS! Not a piano or any other instrument! Any ideas on how I can fix this? Thanks for your time! -M
