The PCY10 is just a mono piezo pad like any other mono pad
(PCY65/PCY60/TP65 etc.) and must have a separate input, typically
input 9 or 10. The PCY10 can be attached to the same cymbal arm as
the PCY65/65S or it can be mounted separately. By mounting it an
existing PCY65/65S, you will not need to by a cymbal mounting arm or
rack clamp. You can see an example of one of these mounted by looking
at the photo section under OldGuyDrummer.
IF you do get a second PCY65S for your kit, you might want to take
your existing PCY65 ride which is a mono zone pad and move it to
input 9 and put the PCY10 in input 10. You will need an Y-insert
cable that split a stereo jack into mono left and mono right.
That way you can put the new PCY65S in input 6 and you will then be
able to use the pad as a stereo pad with bow and edge voices, as well
as, getting choking. If you connect the PCY65S to inputs 9 or 10 you
will only get a single bow voice and not the edge voice or choking.
