Real hi-hat stand?

Real hi-hat stand?

2004-01-03 by Nick Carroll

I note that the specs on the DTXpressIII includes a hi-hat pad
incorporated into a traditional hi-hat stand. I couldn't think of
anything worse. What I love about the pedals on my DTXpress is that
I can position them anywhere I like, avoiding the
posture/chiropractic problems I have experienced when playing an
acoustic kit. Thus I have hi-hat and kick pedals lined up parallel
to each other inside the kit frame, which for me feels a lot better
than having to splay my legs.

I think I would tip over if I sat like that, or pinch something down
there, but what do I know, I've only had my first kit for 2 weeks
now.
