Stereo

2003-08-30 by jimmymagee10

Hi I am on the verge of purchasing the DTXPressII (very excited!),
and I'm sorry if this has been answered before, but can I set up
each pad at a different place on the stereo spectrum? (Cymbals far
right, hi-hats middle left etc.)

Yes. Every voice (not just each pad) has a "pan" setting, from L27
(extreme left) through R27 (extreme right), with all points between.

What you *can't* do is send those voices to different output
channels. They're just spread across the stereo image on the output.

No problems in doing that...

Personal preference:
For normal kit sounds - don't 'hard' pan fully right or left. Makes
them sound more natural.
Percussion sounds (shakers, and such) work quite well fully panned.

Jimmy,
Welcome to the forum, and the DTXpress world. The answer is Yes you
can. Each pad has many parameters that you can fully edit and
customize!

Jimmy:
Yes, you can pan individual sounds to any degree (0-64) from left to
right.
Oh, and welcome!
