Moostication - THANKS!

Moostication - THANKS!

Hi Stewart,

Thanks for the Hi-Hat positioning tips, and particularly the fine
photograph of your set-up! Outstanding! I must be an idiot...I never
thought of moving the DTXpressII module to another part of the drum
kit setup rack. Hopefully, others in our group will see your set up,
because it's truly helpful - and Yamaha doesn't provide any examples
in their literature or website. Again, thank you so much. - Bob

Y'welcome. Plenty of fine photographs from other folks in
the "Photos" section of this group, too. You should have a look
around, as there may be other ideas you can use. Make sure you check
out OldGuyDrummer's pictures too.

Actually, it occurs to me to mention that there is one good reason
for it to be on the left on a right-handed setup. If you have (or
will have) a habit of changing setups on the fly (particularly mid-
song), in theory you could maintain a basic hat/snare rhythm just
using your right hand, while tinkering with the module with your
left. But I could never see myself doing that, so moved it so (a) it
frees up some space and (b) is under my right hand for when I have a
tweak-fest.
