Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Whoo!  After six years of no drums I finally spent the saved cash 
and bought a DTXII this afternoon!  Its so much fun and I really 
love it!  I don't even know half of what it does or how to use it 
but I'm learning quickly!  I got mine for $850.00 due to tax reasons 
and it being the end of the year and all.  I also got a twin iron 
cobra power glide.  Bass drum pedals have come a long way since the 
last time I stepped on one!  Its two o' clock in the morning and I'm 
banging away, I can't believe this! :)  I'll soon post pics of my 
set up to this board!

hey congrats on the new dtx2 kit! and, $850... wow thats a good 
price. i'm a bit jealous. i ordered mine online at the end of last 
week, and this morning i received an email telling me that that 
don't have any in stock. and they will not get any for another few 
weeks. oh well... so anyway, what are your first impressions? 
have you made any custom kits? how was set up? how well 
does the bass drum pad track the double bass hits?
