Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

When I hit a pad to increase or decrease a kit the sounds dont flow 
as kit1 advances to kit2 etc. Does anyone know if its possible to set 
the module so that the sounds dont cut out when the kit is advanced
Any help will be appreciated.

This topic was brought up before and nobody had an answer to it. I think Yamaha
didn't plan on the kits being changed midstream, so the option to allow the
sounds to decay before cutting them off was never implemented. I might be wrong
about this, but from what I remember there was no satisfactory solution.
