Can not adjust the click volume on DTX brain

Can not adjust the click volume on DTX brain

2002-01-29 by glen1865

For some reason I can not controll the volume of the click with the
click volume knob. I tried everything I can think of including
resetting the factory settings. I run my kit through an E.Q. and an
amp with headphones plugged into the amp.
Any idea's are more than welcome. The click stays at full volume.
My ears can't take it anymore.
Thanks
Glen

Go into the utility menu ( press the utility button). A couple pages
in, you will come to VolMode=live. switch this to 'practice'.
On 'live' mode the click knob controls the kick volume.Unless you hold
the shift button at the same time, then it adjusts all the other
voices except snare and cymbals.. It works the opposite way too.in
'practice' mode the click knob controls the click, unless you hold the
shift button at the same time, then it controls the kick. That's why
on the panel it says 'kick' right under 'Click vol'..... The 'Accomp
vol' knob works the same way with the snare volume!EXCEPT: in live
mode accomp vol adjusts the snare volume, pressins shift controls
the cymbal volume. in practice mode 'accomp vol' controls the song
volume, pressing shift controls the snare volume. All this stuff is in
the manual on page 52. you should read it there as I may have screwed
it up!!!. Let me know if this doesn't help.

Scott,
Thanks for the info. I was thinking that the shift buttom switched the
click and the kick in the practice and live mode. Thanks for clearing that
up for me.
Glen
