I'm looking for trigger settings for Yamaha's DTXpress using Pintech
CC101ST and CC102ST pads.

hey i saw your post on the pintech group as well, i play a full
pintech set-up,and use actually 2 dtxpress modules,so if you can be a
little more specific on what settings your looking for your module,i
can probably help you out, i basically set my module up for using
with my concertcasts with alot of success,so let me know what you
need to know...

Hey, I'm not the guy who wrote, but I am using a Pintech ccst for
snare with my DTXpress kit. I have had mixed results with settings
etc. How tight do you have the mesh head? What trigger settings do you
use? These are my settings, with a fairly tight head:
Type: TP Snare
Gain: 73
MVel: 24
VelCurve: Normal
SelfRej: 0
Rej: 1
This allows pretty good sensitivity, a good flam, but I can't seem to
find a good midway point for good sensitivity at very light taps, and
keeping the level from maxing at less than a hard smack. In other
words, I would like it to sense the lightest playing, but have the
ability to withstand a fairly hard hit with out being at its max until
the hardest hits. Im set at Medium, when i set at Dynamic, it doesn't
work as well.

hey cool, i use basically the same settings for my set-up, as far as
the head tightness i generally have it fairly tight ,but not as tight
as you would have an acoustic snare head, also do you have a rim
silencer on your concertcast pad??? if not check out the photos in
this group ,and check out my lit photos,i made my own rim silencers
for the pads ,and they quite similar to v-drums...if you do alot of
rim shots on your snare ,it seems to have nice rim feel to it..
