Triggering voices on and off

Triggering voices on and off

2011-01-05 by Chris

I put together a multipad and am trying to figure out how to make a continuous sound (such as Synth or Strings) start when a pad is hit and then stop when a different pad is hit (while also triggering the next voice...

Setting up a xylophone or marimba is easy because the sounds decay but this has me baffled....

I didn't see anything in the manual that covers this situation.

Chris,

You need to set "Hold Mode=ON" in the voice settings. I think it will only work with the loop voices - L. For example look at some of the quirky kits - usually the higher numbers above 23 or so.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
