Kick Trigger

I've had my DTXpress for about a year now and love it.  The only problem
i've every really had with it is the cruddy kick pedal.  It seemed that
it just died on me, so i sent it back to Yamaha two months ago, and
still haven't recieved word back on it.  So now I have no kick pedal,
and I'm using the HH pedal as the kick on the left side for now...  The
question I have, is what pedal would you guys recomend for someone on a
budget that needs a replacement kick trigger?

Go grab the Pintech I paid around 20-30 dollars for it, had it a year with no problems (yet). That Pintech kick pad also has a lifetime guarantee.....

That's the one I've been looking at.  It looks really small, but it's
supposed to accomidate double pedals.  What is it like playing with the
inverted beater, and how loud is the thing (live in apartments with
paper walls...)?
