Can I use Yamaha HH65 and HP65 with Roland HPD-15?

Greetings All,

I posted this question to the Roland Handsonic group and didn't get a 
response.  With all the knowledge in this group, I'm betting I can get 
an answer.  And no, that isn't just blatant sucking up.

I'm thinking of buying an Roland HPD-15 (basically an electronic hand 
drum) and hoping I can use the foot controls and triggers from my 
Yamaha DTXPress II.  It can support the Roland High Hat Controller and 
Kick Drum Triggers.

Has anyone gotten the Yamaha HH65 Hi-Hat Controller or the HP65 Bass
Drum Trigger to work with the HPD-15?

From my understanding, the HPD-15 is electronically similar to the V-
Drum module.  Of course with pads designed for hand drumming.

All I know is the Roland HH pedal and the Yamaha HH pedal are
different and not interchangeable.  There are adaptors around to allow
you to use a Yamaha HH pedal on the Roland or vice versa, I think.

Hi Bob;

I use a Roland HD-10. I mostly use it for percussion studio work, but have used the kit settings for rehearsals, and small gigs. My Yamaha HP65 was hit and miss with it. I went for a Roland KD-7, and it works perfectly. I haven't yet picked up a stereo to Mono Y-Cord, so I can't really comment about the HH65 Controller. Found that I can live without the opening and closing of the HH for as often as I use it, (the default is a closed HH).
