All of a sudden my snare pad is triggering both the center and the rim shot zones when the pad is struck in the center. This holds true for the 2/3 of the pad closest to the rim trigger. The other edge trigger is operating normally. It's almost as if the trigger has slipped off the rim and is now picking up center strikes. Is this something that I can fix? Can I open the pad up and take a look? Help!!

It sounds like a connection problem. Try another cable first, just to
eliminate that.
There are pictures of the all pads in bits in the photos section
(thanks to oldguydrummer) so you can see what is inside before you
start - assuming it is out of warranty.

Hi there, I had this problem too, but the thing is there will allways be some crosstalk, and when you use different sounds then the rimshot and a snare it wil be more noticible. For exsample a big loud gong on the rim wil sometimes be triggered by a centerhit and thats disturbing so i dont use these combination on dualzone pad.Good luck.Gr Santana

hello, do anybody know why I get always a long delay on input 8 and 9 ? (Tom3 and crash2). I use 8 for Bass Tom and 9 for Floor Tom. I tried to tweek the delay but nothing realy helped. If one of you had an idea how to improve those sounds. Thnx Claude

Claude, It is only a guess, but could it be caused by crosstalk? Try playing with the specific rejection, self rejection and general rejection parameters in the trigger edit menu and see if you can affect it. Keith.

Keith, the delay is not at the beginning of the sound, but at the end. It sounds like loads of reverb or very long samples. I tried to cut the hole thing and shorten the sounds, but it makes the sounds " synthetic". It helps a little bit when I shift the basic note, but not for all samples. Some voices have a residual "ringing". Does it change if you change the voice? Does the same voice sound the same if you program it to a different pad? (i.e. it is the specific to the voice, not the pad). Keith.
