Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hey guys and dolls,

I've got my dtxpress two years now, and the last couple of days my pads 
are moving :S
Well, not really moving but I can't seem to tighten the screws enough 
to keep them in their place: they're going down.
Has anyone had this problem too?

Yes, I have always had to make mine really tight to stop them moving.

Yes, I've had pads moving because the clamps wouldn't tighten 
sufficiently. They were seizing up in their old age! I used RP7 
(lubricant spray) to loosen up the clamps so they would tighten down 
more.
