Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Is it possible to add a second pad to inputs 1-8, like on 9/10?

You can't add second pads to the 1-8 inputs, although these are stereo pad
inputs. Just read Sancturn's answer about Y-cable. But maybe If you are a
great handyman, it might be possible, I am not sure at all. Ask your
question to the DIYedrums forum, there are people very competent for these
sort of problem.
