Checking for past info

Checking for past info

2004-08-17 by Nick Carroll

I keep coming up with fairly basic questions but haven't yet worked
out an easy way to check through the hundreds of messages to see
whether my questions have been asked already. Is there a way to do
that?

Hi Nick,

The search engine is a force to be reckoned with, I'm afraid. I
usually pick a single term, repeating the process with refined
searches until I pass out or find what I want. I usually find what I
want.

Since I'm here, I'll just say that I was impressed with the rims on
the TP120S through the DTXT. I've never played a TP65S through a
DTXpressII or III.

Thanks, Ed. By the way, I've been told that you can't use the pad
controller on the TP100 using a DTXpress. Should I assume you can
only use it with a DTXtreme? What is the pad controller meant to do,
anyway?

Yes, that's a safe assumption.

It's assignable - you can use it for pad volume, pitch, snare
tension, or whatever suits your nefarious purpose.
