My only reservation about it (the same one I have for many of Roland's products) is the price tag, though it is available from time to time at a more reasonable cost. By the way, nothing about the PM- 3's published specs (including its modest increase in power) would lead anyone to believe that its sound quality, at any volume, would be worlds better than the Yamaha monitor. I was hoping that the MS50DR and its larger brother were Yamaha's price-conscious answer to it. Sadly, it appears not, and if Dan is right, Yamaha might be going back to the drawing board. Personally, I didn't think that Yamaha was capable of such a glaring error in an area that would seem to be such a slam dunk for them. Ed
